Hi!, I am one of Mara's little figurines. Let me tell you a little bit about my friends and I.
We are little figurines, all individually hand-made by Mara Luiza Nascimento, an artist specialized in portraying people, here in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada .
We are hand sculpted from polymer clay and cold porcelain dough.
If you look around, you may notice some of my friends have stringy necks and legs. These guys actually have tiny little magnets in their appendages, so that they can be placed in different positions on a fridge door!
Also, we are not clones! I mean, Mara doesn't use a mold to make us. So each of us is at least a little different from one another.
Oh, did I mention we're pretty tall?... Most of us are between 6 and 7 inches tall!
Many of us like to hold interesting things related to our professions and hobbies. These objects are generally handmade from the same compound, but we also have a few things made with polymer clay, wood, etc...
We have grown to a fairly big community with different skin tones, ages and professions. You can browse the list on the left side to find the ones you like the most.
